R-MA Interact Club students present a check to Skip Rogers for the “Adopt A Warrior” program on Dec. 15.

Randolph-Macon Academy Middle School Interact officers (representing the 34 Interactors at R-MA Middle School) presented “Able Forces” Founder and CEO Skip Rogers, with a check for $500.00 on Dec. 15 to help with the “Adopt a Warrior” program for Christmas.

“Able Forces” was founded in 2008, with the purpose of helping wounded veterans find sustainable employment after returning from the battlefield.  The “Adopt A Warrior” program was created to help warriors and their families, at Christmas time, provide a tree, a full dinner and gifts for the children of the family.

R-MA Middle School Director of Student Life and Interact Club advisor, Michael S. Williams, says this has become an annual event for the R-MA Middle School Interact Club.
